The Foundation stewards both endowed and current-use scholarship funds established by donors. Awards range from need-based and merit-based scholarships to funds designated for specific colleges, majors, and student populations. Students apply through Radford University’s scholarship application.
Foundation assets are invested by professional investment managers under the direction of the Board of Directors and its investment committee, following the Foundation’s investment and spending policies. Annual audits and IRS Form 990 filings are published in the Documents Center.
Beyond scholarships and campus investment, the Foundation partners with organizations including Highlander Radford, the Radford Chamber of Commerce, and Radford Child Development, and it develops property that supports both the university and the surrounding commercial corridor.
